Regular Worship Services

Ipswich Uniting Church – Jacaranda Street community
is located at 114 Jacaranda St, North Booval, 4304.   

Worship Service:      Every Sunday at 9am. This service is basically traditional, but new music is often introduced, and modern liturgies are used regularly. The Trinity Ipswich Congregational Choir sings at the commencement of Worship most Sundays but not at present due to the ongoing Covid restrictions. The Minister conducts the services on most occasions.

Sunday School:        At present there is no formal Sunday School, however, there is an option for children to be catered for with a special time during worship, and then an opportunity to perhaps work on activity sheets in the crèche area adjacent to the worship area of the church.

Holy Communion:    Can only be celebrated under Covid 19 restrictions sharing in that sacrament on the 2nd Sunday of every month. These Holy Communion opportunities are shared as part of a full Worship Service.  Baptisms, Weddings + Funerals can also be arranged as required, noting the current social distancing rules.

Niuean Service:        From 12.00pm on 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month.
(This Service is conducted in the Niuean language). Pastor Jameson Taupiasi, is the pastoral leader of this Pacific ethnic community and usually conducts these services.
